What data is processed?

Survey data — Title, description, and questions entered by the creator.
Responses — Participant responses. No names, but optionally email address if enabled by the creator.
IP address — Captured when a response is submitted and associated with that response. No sharing, no tracking, no analysis.
Timestamps — recorded when a survey is created and when responses arrive.
Account (optional) — email and hashed password, only if you register.
Cookies — Only for language preference and dark mode. No tracking, no analytics.

IP addresses are stored solely for response association, not analyzed, and not shared with third parties.

Legal basis

Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest) for survey creation and operation. Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) through active participation by respondents.

Hosting

Servers in Germany. HTTPS encryption. Passwords stored only as hashes. No data shared with third parties.

Retention

Surveys and responses are deleted after 12 months or can be removed by the creator at any time. Vote fingerprints are cleaned up when the survey is deleted.

Right to information, correction, deletion, data portability, and complaint to a supervisory authority. Send requests to the email address above.
